National Minimum Wage Rates  and 2012 Rates Changes

 

Please Be Aware The National Minimum Wage Rates from the 1st October 2011

 

£6.08 per hour aged 21+

 

£4.98 per hour aged 18 – 21

 

£3.68 per hour aged 16 - 17

 

£2.60 per hour apprentices aged under 19 or in the first year.

 

 

Changes to Statutory Rates from from 6th April 2012

 

Statutory Sick Pay will increase from £81.60 to £85.85 per week

 

Changes to Statutory Rates from 9 April 2012

 

Statutory maternity, paternity, additional paternity and adoption pay and maternity allowance: increase from £128.73 to £135.45 per week.

 

These new rates will apply to employees earning more than £107 per week (previously £102 per week).
